Welcome to the Antagonism website

Antagonism is a Freeware 3D shoot-em-up created by me, Ben Wright, in Dark Basic Pro.
It was inspired by one of the most underrated games of all time, Space Harrier, by Sega.
If you weren't around in the eighties, Space Harrier was this truly ground-breaking game with
spectacular graphics, memorable soundtrack and awesome gameplay. It was one of the
earliest 3D games that looked genuinely impressive and was tremendously influential.
Space Harrier was so far ahead of its time that arcade perfect home ports didn't emerge
until ten years after its initial release.

In Antagonism you play Iona, a veteran female warrior who has been selected to liberate
the provinces from the evil tyrant Vorzod Malyius. Iona must battle across 24 different
zones on her G6000 'Super-Booster' space bike, blasting wave after wave of adversaries
while avoiding the myriad of obstacles hurtling towards her. At the end of zone 24 Iona
faces her final confrontation with the ultimate antagonist himself, Vorzod Malyius.
